The bombshell was dropped and no credible follow up info for the workforce. No motivation, production has taken a nosedive, and all the focus is on trying to learn when letters will go out.

I had about 7 years in with ATT at the time we were acquired by SBC. Maybe I was still learning the ropes but I do not recall having grave concerns about the leadership at that time. ATT fell out of favor with our customers and no one did anything to slow our slide into irrelevance among our Telecom peers. The poor decisions made by our leadership today is tolerated only because there is nowhere else for ATT to go but up. We are but a fading shadow of the Organization of 25 years ago.
I pay rent
I do as little as possible for this company, believe me! I believe I'm the biggest slacker in my state and the beauty of it is, I still get paid every two weeks like everyone else! I wasn't always this way, but T management once showed me their true colors and came after me for no reason, now it's me, myself and I and ATT has to take a back seat!

My new job is ME. I’m CEO and focused on myself. These officers took a smart, energetic, top producer and turned me into a self serving slacker overnight. I get there when I get there. Take breaks when I choose to, leisurely lunches and leave at 4:30 sharp. No more calls after work or before. I won’t invest anything in this place anymore. I’ve told all my friends who don’t work here…and I have a ton of them…what a sh-t-hole this place has become. They are customers . They know others and will spread the word. I’m a walking ad for Verizon and any competitor out there. The sooner this place implodes the sooner the ja----s responsible for ruining it will move on. The good people left will find other jobs. They will survive because they won’t let anyone ruin their attitude or spirit. Karma is a high riding bi--h and he may run but he can’t hide. She’ll find him. Paybacks are he-l. Good luck guys! Rise above this. It will only get you down if you let it. Don’t give him the satisfaction.
AT&T wants you, all of you until they don't. They can't get shed of you fast enough after that.
Learned the lesson. Be careful what you will tolerate because you are teaching others what they can get away with you.
