Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How long until Amazon buys AT&T?

They are already trying to get in the game in our industry but instead of working with all the carriers, why not buy T that has a ton of the infrastructure already in place?

I’ll give it 5-10 years max.

Amazon is the largest cloud provider in the USA maybe the world with there AWS cloud service. I’ve always thought AT&T had an advantage in that space if they had chose to go that route with all the generators batteries buildings and large chiller systems we have and geographically close to the large customer. Proximity is important to latency and how many equipment hops you have to pay for. Close=less backhaul expense. We should’ve done this instead of directtv. Amazon and Microsoft know this and so does Stankey. The CTO told them as much but he was let go after an affair I believe.

Amazon would only want the wireless. AT&T will be broken up by the end of the decade.

Why would they want our huge debt? Probably cheaper to just resell.

Amazon telephone & telegraph, at least wouldn’t have to change uniforms, truck decals, signs, does save a fortune.
