From a credible source, Service Delivery Org expects to have zero virtual positions.

Government accounts can't be outsourced so they have to stay here in the US. Would love to know how Townes will support customers when he's not allowing anyone to be outside of Dallas/Atlanta, isn't allowing relocation, and doesn't have enough people on teams as it is to support the current volumes. Great plan! Also, teams that are expected to go to the office can't even reserve seats near each other so they sit in different areas even when they're in the office. Great collaboration. Really improves productivity, efficiency and the customer experience. 🙄
Yes between PCA out of India or Bogota and SD out of Hyderbad, they will need to ramp up the escalation teams roster as y'all are in for good times.
SD will get hit hard as many teams have 50% or more located outside of hub locations. Most are level 1 or level2 managers so pay is low and i can not see how any can afford to uproot and move let alone afford an expensive location like Atlanta or Dallas on their salary. Take the lump sum and invest at a 8% return and in 4 years time you will recover most that was lost due to interest rate in 2022.
Alot of work was moved to Bogota and they are ramping up. Columbians are nice but have a long way to go. After what seems like 3 or more years they are still struggling to perform simple task.
“When you can get the same results for lower cost it only makes good fiscal sense to continue to move jobs to lower cost areas”
For sure cheaper, same results - not so much…….
Service Delivery always takes a big hit as work is easy to outsource. When you can get the same results for lower cost it only makes good fiscal sense to continue to move jobs to lower cost areas. Hyderabad's center welcomed visits from T management last week and were pleased to find out they are getting more work.
That org has roughly 15.000 people in virtual teams around the world - so no-VO is nonsense
I would expect that SD/SA org. will be completely removed, sold or replaced by contractors soon.
Direct quote from Josh Hampshire: “At this time we don’t see any virtual designations in the Service Delivery organization.”
This actually makes sense. The level of service always improves when physical connections are established and sustained.
Townes is Mr. Nobody, he thinks that zero VOs will make him big boy instead of small dikc
I can believe it. I work in service assurance and we are all back in the office and under the same VP (Townes)
Ok. Next BS pls.
