Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Do we ask for sub-forums on TheLayoff?

Hi - I want to send a note to the mods to see if we can get AT&T subforums on TheLayoff... I wanted to see if others have ideas on how to organize things or how to break things down. I was going to go with: Services, Mobility, Stores (not sure), Corporate, Finance, IT (not sure what to call this)...

Thoughts?

There’s a lot of off-topic ridiculous posts on the AT&T page of this site, but yours is the worst.

You’re attempting to create a new AT&T organization structure based on how you think on a third-party website.

Why are you trying to add complexity that only you are asking for? Does any other company have sub-pages by department?

This sounds like the terrible idea of a bored, overpaid L2

Don’t need sub forums. If they do get created, I am going to miss post all of mine to trigger people’s ocd.

How about you just go get some help for your paralyzing OCD and leave the forums alone.

Click on AT&T and you're in the sub-forum.

How about subforum called "layoffs" since 99% of posts are not about those?

I'm not complaining, I just read the ones I want to.

Doesn’t matter. EVPs have power to overrule the rules. For example, there will be special exceptions for virtual approvals for the favored ones…those who won’t have to relocate or Return to Office.

Doesn’t matter what group you’re in, politics/favorites will still exist.
Hopefully folks will call raise discrimination concerns.

Not sure what would be achieved by special forums.
A good poster would title the subject accordingly. Not a bad thought but we may as well read it all. No one else seems to be sharing much.
