Some rumors are going around about June cuts. I'm not sure if they're true, but the answer is "yes," I truly hope our team is not hit. We have been begging our manager to backfill several positions because we can barely get stuff done as it is. If they cut even one more person I can guarantee you the rest of us will walk away. Enough is enough.

Every meeeting is a cringe fest, when on earth do they find these 'managers'.....is the recruitment pool really that desperate!

Layoffs have been going on a long while globally, they are keeping it to small numbers but constant to keep off the Wall Street radar.
However I hear as well that bigger things are coming.

been laid off last november, after many many years of loyal service, and been offered another position recently to come back with a way higher salary, but i refused their offer as i was too scared to come back into this he-l!
You are getting me excited. I wouldn’t be so lucky. So far these rumors haven't been true, maybe this time I will finally get my severance package.
I wish I could be laid off, but I’m in my first year. Idk what I did in my last life to deserve this job as a punishment.
I doubt June, whilst in the pipeline we expect July at the earliest but more likely September. We will see.
In SPS I know a poor person who was dumped with 3 times their normal work after the last round of layoffs. The director told them that they would rehire in June to relieve the pressure, not looking likely.....it could even go the other way!
