Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

I'm not sure what's worse here

Leadership or culture. In either case, I advise anybody considering joining to keep walking.

Let's be realistic, Internally, this place is a sh-t-storm at best.

Management slinging sh-t against walls and seeing what sticks is being too kind.

on the dare to lead front ... nobody is attending and that says it all.

And as I get further into the book, the more woke examples begin to appear.

Like don't focus on Harvey Weinstein ...

Dare to Lead or Dare to Leave!? The people running this company are away with the fa----s. The woke agenda has gone too far. I watched the Investor day(well, 2 hours) and was frankly embarrassed. Are these the best visionaries we can get!? Chapter 11 by year end.

Fo4ce read all the books you want to your employees, if the front line issues with systems, tools, processes are not fixed, good luck with that culture

Agree 100%. As a former employee, the chance of LUMN seeing a profit in the coming years is zero. Bankrupt within 9 months.

Leadership and culture go hand in hand with each other. Exactly...we have neither!!

Dividends should’ve been eliminated years ago and the money invested in the company. They wouldn’t be where they are now had the billions been invested in the company instead of. dividend stealing the profits at the expense of the future revenue.

They screwed themselves over by eliminating the dividend. It doesn't matter if somehow the company woke up tomorrow wildly profitable. None of that money would go to shareholders. The only reason for owning the stock now is speculation that there are other investors who will be pay even more just to own the stock for speculation. Unlike with actual tech companies, investors aren't buying that tomfoolery.

... as the market, investors and Wall Street tell us what they thought of "Investor Day", all current and present employees, just hang our heads in shame at the antics of the SLT. You're right, clowns!
