Sambar’s org will have a mgmt. surplus announced on 6/22 with people off payroll on 7/6. It’s been in the works for several months. It is no surprise….or shouldn’t be. If you were in the know, you’d already know about. I am, so I know. Don’t be jealous. Just wait and see.

"If you didn’t receive the RTO letter by now you are at risk of let go.
If you are a union it is different story."

Nobody in our org has received "the RTO letter". We were told that we would receive notifications starting around June 16, at the earliest.

If anyone has actually seen "the RTO letter", I would love to know what it says. I think a lot of people who post to this list are just making things up.

BS, Sambar's org hasn't been given any options yet.

All levels to be affected on this one. More of a splatter effect. Simple peanut butter spread on management for all levels. Hopefully someone has volunteered to be ranked low if you want to stay. If not, it really depends on where you fall among your peers. Most of the low performers were taken out in the last one in my org. Now we are cutting into the bone. Brace your self and if you do get tapped, take you 6 months and go find something where you are valued more than just a number.

Yes, true for ACE at least. Plus a fairly significant span of control exercise as well so managers being surplused and/or downgraded and teams consolidated. There won’t be “affected workgroup” calls this time around (they were a disaster last time anyway) so it’s just - 6/22, here’s your letter. Sucks.

This is an accurate/factual and only 3 weeks away. 6/22 notification.

"This matches up with what I have heard from a coworker. I'm inclined to believe it. Brace yourselves, everyone"

Yes but your coworker heard it here. One troll can make up dates and then it spreads like wildfire.

I will say that the last Q1 surplus date did line up with what was being said on here in the two to three weeks leading up to the surplus. And the people that actually knew, had no context in any way attached to the dates. They just sp-t out the facts with no clues as to who they are.

There is no hope, it's either cut heads now, significantly, or go belly up.

Stop this BS of no severance. It is your wishful thinking. There is severance and it is official. If your job is moving or eliminated you will get severance. If you are in hub location and don’t want to go to office 3-5 days a week then you can resign and no severance.

I have seen another post an about this. What is the source and any idea if it is specific to an org?

It’s not an axe it is a gift. On the way to 85k employees, most will get no severance.

Details to support your comment? Likely not true, but interested in what you have to say.
