I'm not trying make excuses for anyone, but I somewhat understand people who have decided to do only the bare minimum necessary to keep their job. Maybe it's time for Intel to examine why there are now so many of them?

Every real Intel employees are striving hard to making a comeback. Do you want US chips manufacturing security or not? If you do, stop buzzing!
Intel took away every incentive people had to go the extra mile. They intentionally destroyed employee morale so people would leave without severance. The fabs are full of people waiting on VSP to be offered and they are doing literally f&$k all in the interim. Looks to me like their plan is working because morale is in the toilet and many of our best employees are heading for the door.
It certainly inspired me to get out there and find something better.

I only work 4 hours a day, because that is all Intel is paying me for now that they have lowered my salary.
And during those four hours of work I am obsessing mostly about the next layoff.
