Apollo Global to invest $2B in AT&T subsidiary
"AT&T Mobility II LLC will use the proceeds from the investment to partially replace the $8 billion of preferred interests that were outstanding prior to the fourth quarter of 2022"
Not a innovative finance major but in my simple mind that does not sound good.

Stanley is selling everything. Repo depo is stepping on his toes. T is dead and watch stanley and cfo. They are defrauding investors and will end up like e holmes.
Swapping $2 billion worth of bond payments with a set maturity date for $2 billion of preferred equity with preferred dividends that smell an awful lot like debt (but aren’t on the balance sheet) which NEVER matures. It’s a rob Peter to pay Paul move so they can brag they paid down debt but in reality it is smoke and mirrors.
