No further site closure planned for now. The responsible team is either doing a recovery of a mess made from all site closures previously done and looking more into licensing out our Sunset products.
Plus the big potholes in the parking lot.
25 years has been hard on Cedar Creek. The outward appearance of the site indicates a lack of care. Many dead trees line the perimeter. The curbs and gutters are collapsing and many parking lot segments are blocked off from use. Sort of like the Rodgers road site when we left it in 1998. It seems like only yesterday that the building was brand new and Allied Signal was the largest maker of Avionics. One look at the site today and you will understand that Honeywell isn't even in the race for last place.

Still too soon to know if the new CEO will speed up the closure process.
The only real change we've seen is that Cap'n Ahab S.K. reopened his private front-lobby entrance. The restricted hours for this Captain Quarters' entrance allows him to avoid the deck swabs and bring in secret guests as well. T.P. selling this as a huge win for everyone in Olathe was a master stroke of evi1 genius! Hey, Ahab S.K. may even allow the managers to use it -- if they tow the line.
from everything i'm hearing, they're pretty much done with site closures - 1030 and 1018 are still in work, but apparently they're at the "right size point" from an aero perspective
