How long to Stay at Oracle if Not Promoted?

Is Oracle counting on top performer attrition from no promotions FY24?

Only way to get recognized at Camp Oracle is to leave and come back in 3-5 years. It's practically encouraged by the culture. They do not reward loyalty.

OMG. Why do you even ask such a question? Do you think anyone else on the world can answer that question better than yourself?

You didn’t get promoted. So figure out why and make a decision based on that. Just because you didn’t get promoted now doesn’t mean you won’t be promoted in the future. But you may never be promoted - at oracle or any other company. Nobody can offer you a guarantee or crystal ball into the future.

If you're still there today then you have already been there WAY too long.

Attrition is attrition. Good workers, bad workers, it doesn’t matter, they are all going to be former workers.

They will be counting on attrition to reduce the need to layoff, performance won't be a factor. If you're someone they absolutely need then they can make a counter, otherwise it's goodbye.
