Employee Retention Act payed something like 26k per employee that was retained after Covid.
What happened to the 5200 employees that were let go? Did they account for them on the up and up?
I think they need to show their accounting. Could be talking what, maybe over 130 million?

Really?
Maybe if you were handling a claim like you should be... we'd be in a better spot than we are now. 1000's of work from home employees are doing jack squat and those that are working are getting overloaded.... GET BACK TO WORK.
Sure thing buddy. I’m a management wanna be. Couldn’t be farther from the truth. I just don’t like being a dark cloud about every minuscule and useless topic that is brought up here. You keep living your life in misery if that’s your thing.
I see paid corporate handler shill Wilson panty sniffer brown noser overpaid management hack has entered the chat.
You all must lead pretty pathetic lives to worry about stuff like this. Use your free time to enjoy life. How does any of this impact any of you other than a source to whine about issues that you have no impact over or that it impacts you. In short, get a life.
They let a lot more than 5200 employees go in that timeframe. They publicly fudged those numbers big time and they also made up "cause" as a reason to release many others in addition to the lowballed layoff numbers. Don't believe their nonsense. They lied about that to the investors, the media, and the public.
I'm sure if this company had any way to scheme a bit more green for Tommy and his Goons regarding this they would have. I have no idea regarding this though but again if they found a way to take advantage of this then they have or would have.
They accounted for it. Check the 10k filing from last quarter. They had to account for it as the COVID emergency was scheduled to end on May 11.
The 5200 were surplus employees due to massive reductions in revenue. Auto and home values have skyrocketed since 2020. Our claims payouts have, too. Check the 10k. Seriously.
If they applied for the relief with the knowledge of laying off over 5000 employees, that could be a problem
Interesting. I could use the proceeds of a class action suit.
