Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Long term

Long term associates are not paid up to their years of service. You have associations coming in making more than long term associates. 34 years of service with no recognition or appreciation. Looking for another job. Company has lost they sights on how to treat associates and what Sam Walton stood for.

I was there nearly 30 years. When covid was going crazy I resigned and the only recognition I got from our manager was "Don't forget to bring your letter of resignation in tomorrow". What a jackwad! I'm so da*n happy to be gone from that falling fast business!

Sam Walton would be happy. Do you know he threatened to fire anyone who cashed their check when the government instituted minimum wage? Do you know, his second in command called the women who worked there "cows?" Read the history of Sam Walton. He didn't give to hoots about his associates.

they dont even train the newbies anymore its all about throwing them in the fire, using em up till they beat, rinse and repeat. i saw a manager yell at a new hire so bad yesterday he grabbed the wrong curb side cart and ran out the door.

Really, you get more vacation time than them! I bet that was a manager or higher up that made that remark. It's quite sad that the newbies come in making more than the long terms.

Company has lost their sights on what is right. Sam Walton would turn over in his grave. Company is money hungry
