All auto appraisers in New England were advised on a call this morning that today will be their last day on the road for Allstate, got word of this from an appraiser I know in CT. Any appraisals pending will be completed by Pune people. Appraisers were told they can leave Allstate at the end of today or remain for 2 weeks doing desk reviews then leave. All company cars will be picked up next week by some company called Rideaway. Very sad day!!!

Sanity. Thank you.
Educate me???? Lol, you obviously don’t work for Allstate since you have no idea what you’re talking about. Lol. If you did work for Allstate and knew the management structure, which you’ve shown you don’t, I would assume you’d be working during the day and not posting on an Allstate layoffs website?? Hahaha 🤣
Ha ha= wrong again. Big big difference between F and G paygrades.
Error. TD is not Director. Learn the organizational structure. It’s not too hard to master.
Can confirm original poster gets his reports from MsNBC

Incorrect, my co-worker who is currently an appraiser in CT had a company car as did every single appraiser on his team until the announcement on Friday and he confirmed he had been scheduled 3 days out in Workflow but no more than that due to regulations surrounding the amount of days an insurance company has to inspect a vehicle……stick to things you know mire about like the current price of a Big Mac!!! Hahaha 😅
They took away 95 percent of company vehicles during covid. Most appraisers dint have company vehicles and get mileage reimbursements.
And they certainly give you more than 3 days work
Weird because they are going to start sending virtual adjusters back out into the field. This is BS….
Hmmm, weird cause they only scheduled inspections 3 days out not 2 weeks so I’m calling bs on you being an appraiser. Hahaha 🤣
Weird cuse im an appraiser in ct and I have 2 weeks of inspects. Must have missed the call
I guess you fools never heard of something called “independent appraisers” or IA’s for short? Allstate has been using more IA’s than any other company in NE based on lack of staff size since nobody has applied for the positions they’ve had opened forever. All new field assignments beginning Monday will go to IA’s. No benefits needed, no company car needed, HUGE savings for Allstate. You’re welcome for the free education I just gave you now go back to your XBox and leave the posting for adults please. Silly little kids!!! Hahaha 😂
Haha. They would take appraisers out of many more states before they did in the heavily regulated northeast.
Not true at all.
Mass and Rhode Island require in person inspections
Then why are there open field auto jobs in New England on the internal job board?
Momma didn’t raise no fool!
Was about to post this. Got word from MA peer.
