Any insight on when pay will be restored?

Intel is about 50K over compared to the revenue of its rivals and sucking a loss, you ask for more money. Be happy you have a job and get back to work

They've factored this into their layoffs
It’ll be restored when you earn it. Like by leaving for a company able to pay more. If you are having trouble leaving, consider that the market is telling you you’re overpriced for your skill set.
Don't hold your breath. They won't take any action to restore pay or benefits until they've lost enough employees through "natural attrition". There are waaaaaay too many people waiting for VSP to be offered. They know perfectly well that if they offer voluntary packages, half the company will leave, myself included.
I'm not waiting on VSP though - I started looking a little while back and when the right offer comes along, I'm out.
