Looks like SVB has been busy, chopping US head-count to make his #s look good.

Fantastic short-term gain.

Long-term not so much.

Hoping to get laid off to receive severance and collect unemployment for 3 months, then go work for the bank across the street. Not staying to clean up and train Indian workers who replace us! WF is now a US bank staffed by thousands of Indian workers, from risk and control, data analytics, underwriting to customer service. Just go to the org chart, lots of Indians in the executive ranks. Not to mention all the H1B workers from India roaming the campus. Why? Indian workers are known to take shortcuts, low quality output. Maybe that’s WF wants?

Everything I heard indicated that MMB underwriters restructuring was pushed back to July/August. What group is this for within CB?

CB layoffs in the US = new hires in India. Just simple math for toxic company that is failing due to poor operating performance caused by many factors.

Jesus, I wish they would just fire me already and give me my severance. It seems like they pile more work on us on purpose so we will just quit on our own so they don't have to pay.
