No notifications this year because there won’t be any layoffs. Everyone is staying on the sinking ship and will drown

1-1 was moved from next Tuesday to today. New by my managers face what was to come
People had 30min call with their manager and director put in their calendar 3 weeks ago, but the rest of the team also had it.
When they logged in they saw a manager with HR instead of a director, then everything became clear without the words.
Free at last.
The stress is real, we get it. Honestly nothing any of us can do except be proactive with looking for work.. Spend one day only with worry, and then allow yourself the opportunity to move forward.. You got this, we all do.. Peace and love.

In the end your stress and anxiety makes no difference to the outcome. It’s not under your control and if it’s going to happen then it’s going to happen. You might as well not worry about it until it does. Because it might not. If you can’t do that, then focus on the things that you can control, like planning your next move beyond Oracle.
When it happened to me I got invited to a 15 minute “Mandatory 1-2-1” meeting. In the end they changed their mind.
