We paid the price of admission. Oracle never did value experience.

Can they? Sure. Will they? The empathy upper management has shown through the years should tell you. If you feel the layoff we---e with 1000 little cuts is just too horrible to live through, and some have circumstances that do not allow for a change in jobs, do what is necessary. As a survivor of layoff ‘22, I assure you there is life after. Good luck to all.

This is the rif that never ends.
It goes on and on my friend.
Some people thought they avoided it,
But they’ll continue being riffed forever just because
This is the rif that never ends!

They will test the new realignment until October, then go through this same cycle all over again!

What an awful place to work at, having to deal with the ever present RIF threat. Glad I left Oracle years ago.

Your only solution to this constant threat is to get out of Oracle. If you don’t want to leave, then stop complaining.

It has always been this way at Oracle. For some reason, they always want to keep the layoff numbers in the US low enough to not trigger a WARN act filing, so they just trickle out layoffs in cycles. Over and over and over and over.....
