Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

No layoffs for a while?

Feels like outside of the XBS cores, there hasn't been any significant layoffs for some time. And nobody seems to know much of anything else except for the usual complaining about Xerox. I wonder if Xerox is now too lean to need to layoff people....

Thoughts?

Xerox practicing layoffs in small numbers so they can keep reporting to a minimum HR adopted this practice to avoid a negative spin from financial markets..

With this company, the plug is always out of the drain, compounded by those who leave on their own terms.

XRX is too lean but layoffs will continue. Cost needs to decline with revenue. Still a lot of dead weight and layers.

Who are they going to lay off? The outsourced IT, the outsourced call center, the outsourced tier 2 help desk, the outsourced local printer dealers, the outsourced billing center, the outsourced delivery teams, should I continue?

I think I’ll ask this verbatim to cubicle neighbor while slowly dunking some biscotti into comically large cappuccino. Might use the Queen’s voice… Game time decision.
