I remember a time when everyone had a lot more trust in leadership and, accordingly, higher expectations from them. What are the employees' expectations from them now?
I am so disillusioned that I have absolutely no expectations from leadership anymore. I just hope I can get out before they destroy Allstate even more.

Leaders are far from perfect. They’re not super humans. They don’t possess special powers or abilities. They were just at the right place and at the right time. Nothing special about any of them. Point is don’t disappointed when they sc--w up. Their best attribute is convincing everyone they’re well put together.
Does the current leadership really know how much they have damaged an iconic brand and that the odds of addressing the massive opportunities that exist are extremely low? Houston, we have a problem!
The leadership of this company has ZERO idea what they are doing and are unskilled and business illiterate. No worth in any of those high salaries. This company is a lost cause with people like Rizzo, Parsons, and Wilson at the helm. A pathetic show of failure the last three years. These bozos should do us a favor and resign. They are out of their leagues.
Oh, I already had another job lined up when I was terminated today but I just wanted to show how little Allstate cares about THEIR employees. I’ll be spending the summer as an on-site assistant for the Tom Petty 2023 Grass Roots Tour and not worrying about who’s spying on me.
That was your decision. Now you will find out how the real world is. Most companies suck just like here at Allstate
I got terminated today since I chose not to go to a vendor. I receive no severance since I turned down an employment opportunity (didn’t want to do political surveys) which would have been my job at the vendor. Allstate also said they will challenge any unemployment claim I file. Nice folks, eh!!!
Agreed. When I saw Tom made Jess Merten CFO and moved Mario into his current role earlier this year I sold all my ALL stock fund. I never regarded Jess as genuine in my interactions with him. It's down 24 since then. Suren has long passed his expiration date and proven he is unable to actually lead Tech through a difficult transition. Tech is at the heart of the company and Suren is its plaque. I like him personally. A fan early on, I've scratched my head for five years now wondering why Tom has kept him on. CBT was a good concept that failed because Tom didn't hold other leaders accountable. Ultimately, it's Tom who has overstayed his welcome.
They are figureheads at this point. They are far removed from the actual work anyone does; claims, sales, internal anything. Yet they make decisions that impact us all. Money wasted with the trial and error they roll out since they are clueless.
