Was on a call and she was insisting the next round of pay cuts will have to include Operators and hourly employees...Not good.

Why they don’t cut non management 50% instead just to save their management post? Rubbish management
Every employee at Seagate should take a pay cut.
The work from home general and her internal communications hire should both be gone... What does the vp of internal communications know about seagate from her home in Virginia.... give me a break.
Yet we still have FIVE Vice Presidents reporting to her…”VP of Internal communications and community engagement “…. Really? “VP of DEI”.. really, couldn’t that be combined into one if the other bs roles?
I also don't earn enough. We shouldn't be punished for management's mistakes. STST operator hourly rate is low as it is.
Seagate has always overvalued management to a ridiculous degree. We see this in each and every layoff when staff with actual process knowledge and skill are let go yet Management is left untouched. The number of managers I have seen over the years hang on for a decade with zero reports is ridiculous. Off the top my head I can come up with at least at 15 NRM in our department alone. Seagate has little chance of long term survival if we don’t adopt sound business standards, sadly this would more than likely cause further belt tightening. People who just starting or early in their careers please do yourself a favor don’t waste your time with Seagate.
Get rid of one director...how many operators' jobs would that save?
Oh Frosty, you are so mean...
I don’t make enough money to take a pay cut. Entry level salaries should be left alone.
This is the way.
Suggest that an email be sent out on how employees can collect food stamps like they did with the military.
