For decades when walking through our plant I would always pick up clutter or trash when walking by. Never would I leave it on the floor. For the first time, I just walked on by. I don’t care anymore. You win tireman. You have created a complete company of the best people and was able to ruin us all.

Never dedicate yourself to any cause or any company; the more dedicated the bigger blind folds you put on with your own mind and hands. I realized that in 2004; I spent 2004-2008 developing ideas in my garage and training myself to leave the company. I stopped drinking the corporate cool aid. Just saved my money and took every opportunity to learn new software, new tools, etc.. till the day I was laid off and started my own company that I successfully sold in 2022. Find your strengths and rely on your self and develop your skills and take off the blinders (dedication to a company!)..
AMEN BROTHER, you have nailed my sentiments and my co workers. We took pride of being competent, caring and a strong willingness to make our jobs successful so that m+m would be successful, we are seeing what is happening very very clearly Mr Gibbons, we know what you were brought in to do, please don't take us for fools, like MR and MP. There really is still time if we can replace the top 2 jobs for someone to come in with a real ethic of change, Yes we will lose a lot of the volume in some business groups streamlining before we can move forward and build up this company again

Couldn’t agree more. People care so much and dedicate their lives to 3M. He comes in, says nobody cares and everyone is incompetent, destroys morale of everyone in 18 months.
