Call Offs

They should start basing the sams share on who calls off and who don't. The more you call off the less money you get, the more you show up on time for shift you get more money. I bet the call offs will stop and we won't have to hear everyone complain.

Sounds like INCENTIVES for employees . Everything is EXPECTATIONS of ALL but ALL do not give the same effort !! You are correct there should be some loyalty programs etc for those that OVER achieve others under expectations 👏🏻. No one is the same nor should you be treated the same as those that under achieve . One way to bring good moral UP is to incentive one’s exceeding company standards and no all deserves the same when it comes to 2% raises and bonuses!!!!! You will see big change and difference in workers if this were to happen . It will definitely separate the workers from the NONE WORKERS 100% GUARANTEED , Good = compensated, Bad = no change or (unemployed)

you'd really have to up the amount of money awarded to hourly associates to deter call outs. people aren't really motivated when they're only getting a few hundred in sam's share.
it's a damn shame that this company gives out such low bonuses for hourly associates when they're printing money & giving many club managers $100k + in bonuses.

Thats what the point system is for . keep calling out never mind the sams share, people just get terminated. is that not enough? thats like saying well if i do the workload of 1 manager and 2 team leaders and half the floor associates shouldnt i get part of their paycheck? Just because you don't call off doesn't mean you deserve more than someone else.

gets tiring hearing folks say "they just dont want to work" hhmmm anyone out there anyone at all , do YOU really WANT to work ??!! didnt think so. so stop saying of other people as if it is your life long dream to live in a br----l being used by sams. Now a willingness to work because of a sense of responsibility is another thing all together.

I like this idea, and they used a version of it at Walmart. I don't know if they still have a bonus. But, it won't stop the call-offs. People just don't wanna work.
