Everyone thinks posting how they appreciate diversity on social media or that bringing up in a staff meeting how they volunteered for some woke cause will save their job…….THIS is when you know the toilet water is spiraling down… when you think your wokeness is more important than your competence!!!

There simply is not enough money to build the next process because Intel asp is dropping, and the demand is too low to run factories at full capacity. Instead of putting all efforts on cost reductions, Intel has the brilliant idea to sell the excess capacity. Never mind that high cost will doom that effort as well.
There has to be some diversity left behind. Compromise is the hypotenuse of the conjoined triangles of success!
Intel won’t go away, it just won’t matter. Think along the lines of Texas Instruments. No one will buy intel because no one wants to be in the fab business and the design side is mediocre. As long as intel doesn’t do some ignorant woke marketing drive it will survive and find a place as a has been wanna be corporation.
