Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

With the less-than-stellar very-bad poor performance, when is PG stepping down?

Two years of darkness and wokeness… when will PG step down, any guesses from the Titanic of Semiconductors?

people here joking about ifs , i see it as the only way intel can survive - making products for others , as our products , simply put - SH-T .
once nvidia will take over data center cpu's with their own arm chips , x86 data center cpus are dead . amazon , google and now nvidia , all making arm cpus.
i can guess that the next step for nvidia will be arm cpus to complement their gpus for gaming , and then its all over for Intel .

the factories will survive ,in worst case will be sold to other companies for cheap .

pat will never go willingly. he is a man of strong faith. he believes he is destined to be the savior of intel and on a larger scale, american semiconductor manufacturing. he will never willingly walk away from that, men of faith don't ever walk away from what they have been destined by the all mighty to do. the current board will never have the courage to push him out or they would've already. they are terrified and paralyzed. they see the writing but have no idea what to do. so, intel will continue to bleed out until the market cap gets to a point where a group of activists/private equity see the value in buying and carving. that's the only way its gonna end, unfortunately for intel shareholders (and employees). sometimes the best scenario is not an all out victory, but a negotiated settlement. pat and the intel board cannot seem to recognize that unconditional victory is never gonna happen.

There is dissension at ELT level. Most don’t care for PG continued pitch of Grovean culture. Not sure what that means really but the yesmen are lapping it up except CS. He is also not aligned with 5 nodes in 4 yrs either as he states customers don’t want to change their Xeon portfolio that often. PG has a chip on his shoulder (no pun intended) and no one saw it until now with all the decisions he’s made. Karma is catching up to him while intel suffers.

If the stock keeps dropping then eventually the company will be acquired and disassembled.

He will turn 65 in about 2 years. Intel has that set as the retirement age for CEOs. Woke doesn’t include age in their discrimination practices so that age requirement won’t change. I bet he lasts until then.

The BoD seems to be really slow (like the rest of Intel)
I'd say he gets his full 5 year term

Fire SR and her minions for AI failure and for destroying Intel's competitive advantage.

If PG will step down, whoever takes the wheel, will be scary. I would say PG is the only person keeping this company afloat. He needs more help from his staff - 1.

When IFS splits off like a cancerous tumor and becomes a manufacturer for the DoD.

Agree w the points… PG can say it’s always a decades long plan and the board will back him. He was smart to get 109% buyin.

That said if demand remains weak and the capital markets raise cost of debt and stock craters the bod will have no choice but flip.

No worries friends!
DEI Diva, SR will ascend very soon to the CEO slot!
Slogans, platitudes and of course, DEI initiatives will be turbo-charged to drive us to new heights!
The minions SRs has placed across the company, and the DEI obsessed BOD, will make this happen sooner than later!
2 thumbs up!!

Remember BS was fired for his proposal.

This BoD and ELT is going down with the Titanic.

This is like digital photography and iPhone hitting Kodak at the same time.

Intel is finished

I don’t think it happens until the company is broken into multiple pieces. That’ll essentially be the game changer that would seal the deal.
