Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Fab is a reflection of the company

Ive never worked for such a disorganized company with such low quality workers and workmanship on top of management who really doesn't care about meeting the needs of technicians to do their jobs properly. If the general public knew how shi[[y the fabs were run the stock would be less than 10 a share. Maybe I should blow the whistle so people won't lose their money investing in Intel?

Intel is a poorly run company and it's hard to fix a broken culture!

This company really has no future and you can see it. It's no longer branding itself as a 'tech company ' but more of a 'lifestyle company ' - instead of being focused on 'tech' it's focused on things like 'how intel makes the world a better place ' type of marketing because they can no longer compete head to head with its competition. When companies start with this kind of marketing you know the company is on the decline.

"Intel is my 5th in 30 years, and it is one of the more organized out there."

That just means you've been working for some really bad companies with limited perspective. I've been in the industry for about 25 years have have worked at Intel, AMD, various unicorn startups, Apple, and Nvidia. The current Intel is not even in the same universe in terms of talent and competence. I have good friends who are in senior management at AMAT and ASML and you would be shocked at what they say about Intel's process tech behind its back.

And exactly how many companies have you worked for? Intel is my 5th in 30 years, and it is one of the more organized out there.

Perhaps you can't handle your gig? Perhaps you need someone to hold your hand while you work? That's ok, there are others out there.

FYI, technician here.

With that Mr Nice Useless Keyvan in control and his sharp elbowed id--ts like Ann Marie Holmes and “Danny” in Israhell, it’s no wonder . I worked under Bob Baker , under Keyvan ….. one of the most inspid and uninspiring leaders I never imagined could exist. Intel is quietly withering away
