Not sure how CDW gets positive ratings by Forbes. Unless of course they are asking coworkers who fear repercussions for not spouting what management crams down every ones throats. That or Forbes is asking upper management who are raking in bonuses while laying people off.

Not just upper management… all of us.
Just FYI, what you are referring to as "upper management" has all their bonuses / commissions / variable comp tied to the company's performance. In other words, when the company is hurting, so are they. Not asking for you to feel bad for them, but the theory of "Executives profiting off of having layoffs" is a myth, at least at CDW. If the company has a bad quarter, their pay reflects it. It is easy to blame a mysterious "upper management" without doing any actual research as to how their compensation actually works.
