Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Belks/Macys

How many more internal candidates are going to be passed on for promotions? Every new RM or higher has a connection to Belks or Macys. It’s very suspicious in such a trying time.

"Taco Bell managers don't run successful book stores." Follett managers can't seem to run successful stores either.

They are in the "find out" part of "f around and find out" phase of the restructure.

Maybe they will recruit from Taco Bell managers - they give really good customer service!
Not like the lazy team that has worked at the stores (successfully for decades).
They don't deserve a chance!

JRC and the alleged senior management has deemed the long term dedicated associates in the field has lazy and over paid. Bringing in motivated management from leading CS folks from Belks and Macy's. THEY know how to run a college bookstore!
