No funding at all that's what we hear.Everything halted. Cut teams. So sit around do defect work and tasks, charge our time to another bucket ( create a nice deficit) the rest of the time our thumbs are up our you know what, while we wait to meet our demise I guess .. Lordy this company is something else.

How many in a supervisor/management role got laid off?
M-O-N-E-Y!!! That is why the senior nurse case managers were cut and new hires retained. It is all about the bottom line and profits for Wallstreet. The same thing is happening all over the company. Keep the newer lower paid workers with no grandfathered benefits and perks and toss the more knowledgeable and experienced older workers to save money!
3 senior nurse case managers laid off today from my team.. I’ve been there 6 weeks and 2 others have been there 1 month more. Why didn’t we get cut? Makes no sense..
They pull rank to force knowledge transfer.
The biggest issue I have with Elevance is that they expect you to train and spoonfeed highly unqualified people who are making more money than you. And they expect for you to do that with a smile.
This unfortunately is how life has been here in Elevance world for the last 2 decades and a half. Everyday has been a struggle and old timers are just waiting for the numbers to be called up and collect their severance pay.
For sure! Hiring freezes are back on while unethical management decides which of the non-clique participants will get the axe. As usual, what will be left is the lower performing sheep that are willing to lie and cover for incompetent and unethical leadership.
