Something is really sketchy with the fellow they brought in as a VP of bioinformatics from this sketchy company called Progenity. Icing on the cake, this fellow comes from a 'series' of small shady companies that folded (every single one of them), and yet he was hired to 'lead' bioinformatics at Exact Sciences?? Must be a joke. He brings his boy toys from Progenity with him and promotes them right away despite the fact that they haven't been here long enough to deliver. Nor do any of his boy toys have a background in oncology assay development. Shady, shady, shady! Almost makes you wonder if he and his boy toys are in a relationship of sorts.
This then is the fate of bioinformatics at Exact Sciences. No reason to NOT lay off these bioinformatics people en masse. But start with that little maniac VP of Bioinformatics.
