Is there supposed to be a news release?

STST redundancies work out at 7% .Quite low compared to other Seagate plants.
Thanks! Thought I was the only one, maybe they’ll announce in late June. It’s not eggzack a good look for them.
By the way, the numbers we got before were 25 to 30 percent, depending on the group.
Our team lost 4 out of 12, including me. My manager tells me he found other places for two, but not for me and the other poor sap.
Go hit up your Seagate contacts he says.
I had a good run. I don’t know if I have the hutspa to go hit up a bunch of folks who are struggling to hold onto their resources
At same time that’s not enough money to take me into the social security finish line.
I heard LJ volunteered.
They don't need LJ to make a press release. BTW, maybe she volunteered. You make it sound like a conspiracy to keep layoff quiet.
No joke - they laid off LJ, the person who did all the media/press relations in Minneapolis, which is probably why there wasn't an announcement
Regarding "Warn Act", many/most termination dates are in late June. So we are out of a job now, but paid during the notice period.
250+ and climbing
So more layoffs tomorrow then?
How come no WARN act announcement? I thought if the numbers were high enough, the local communities get a press release. Unofficial number for TCO is 80 based on the number of boxes on the dock.
refresh the list so far 200+
In my layoff meeting, my manager suggested 20+%.
An unofficial spreadsheet lists 101 combined at TCO and NRM, and 99 at LCO. So those are floors.
unofficial rumor is north of 20 percent when all is done
Nope. A 8k how to deal with debt. Nothing about the people.....
