Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Rsu %

What is the % RSUs people get?
I got 100%, my friend got 200%.
Is 100% bad?

I got 120%. Is that actually a negative message, I'm spectical. If I get 120 does that mean 20 was subtracted from others, doesn't make sense for people to be getting 200%. It would mean low allocations for many

Só rather than lay off people it is not interested in this company will instead give them stock? Could someone please explain the business logic in that?

Anything less than 100% means Intel is not interested in keeping you. If they use RSU % as layoff criteria for involuntary, you will be the first to go. Therefore, you should be looking and interviewing externally. Even 100-150% you are probably on the fence, you should be looking too, just in case $hit hits the fan.

It means none of the above. It means your manager has been given an even smaller pool of rewards than usual to share out making his/her job of leading and motivating a team almost impossible and also meaning out of a team of 8 let’s say, 1 or maximum 2 people will be happy. 4 will be feeling meh and 2 will be feeling downbeat . Your rewards are also not seen just as a review of you and your performance but mostly of your IMPACT. Some people’s jobs have more impact than others because of the nature of the job. I am speaking as an ex- Manager and ex-Intel who thank heavens was able to leave in February in the first round of CPM. It’s a sh1t show

@1het, @gkb - Both of you are goners. If you haven't started looking for a new job, you should do so immediately.

It means your manager is indifferent to you….not necessarily trying to incentivize you to stay.

I got 30% less than 3-years ago, but 25% more than last year.

100% is average this year, 130% was the average last year. On top of that, the target value dropped an additional 20%. Most saw a year to year grant value decrease of nearly 50%. For those that received 200% or higher, they are the key players that Intel feels they need to weather the storm. For everyone else, feel free to stay for less money, or leave, it really doesn't matter to Intel.
