Per the California Warn Act (Google it), Alteryx has notified of 65 permanent layoffs with the Effective Date as June 30, 2023. The Notice Date is 4/27/2023. The Received Date is 6/30/2023.
Either they are retroactively submitting this notice for the layoffs they did a couple weeks back (because it appears they didn’t comply with the CA Warn Act for the first round of layoffs), or there’s another wave of layoffs coming.
Look at the gradual climb, then very rapid dive, in the Glassdoor user review rating number trend line for AYX.
Plummeted in the past month.
New round of US layoffs coming in the next 6-8 weeks. Expect 4-5% overall.
Distributed and dispersed enough that it will fall under the WARN radar.
Leadership is going into layoff definition and targeting mode this week now that Inspire is over.
AYX is covering its bu-t by pre-filing for the coming Q3 layoff.
Everyone, the notification date is 4/27. Search your inboxes for the email you got that date. This is not for future layoffs. This is about the layoffs that already happened! This panic is not going to solve anything.
