Yeah, discussing how bad the state of the company is via slack is risky. They have direct access to all chats and can easily pick up on that. Safer to keep all discussions offline.
The whole session was uncomfortable. Amala’s tone and demeanor was very negative. She was obviously irritated at the start and only seemed to become more frustrated as the meeting continued. RTO is going to cause a large brain drain in ECIO that her third party contractors will not be able to replace. Amala knows this is a fact and it will cripple USAA’s modernization work. Wayne is forcing this on ECIO and is going to ruin this group.
Yeah, like the other reply said, this isn’t the only site where the truth is being told. Reddit, Glassdoor, Fishbowl all have pages where the grievances are being aired.
I'm happy to see the CIO or CHRO slinging arrows in public at this site or others. That's just proof they are wasting their valuable time chasing down anonymous rumors on the internet. That is just more evidence of how ridiculous the RTO policy is and how thin-skinned these "power" executives really are.
I’m glad they’re monitoring external sites. This RTO business is ridiculous and culture destroying. We’ve already been bleeding IP for years and this will just wipe it out. I predict USAA will outsource all IT and call centers in 5 years because they’re only about the money now. F*ck HLIS (HILS) Honesty Loyalty Integrity Service. Integrity is gone. Completely. And has been since Wayne came into office. Loyalty to employees is gone, completely. Honesty in the last 3 months is gone. Completely.
