@6uyp, the golden rule is "don't use corporate devices and/or network for surfing and posting on social networks", cause it's their property and they have recources (and right) to track your moves if they want. If you are at work use your private cell or a VPN service.

You are not anonymous on this site. Any illusion of anonymity is misguided. I was once personally contacted by a member of management in Bentonville after posting on this site. An associate was once terminated for posts made on reddit and his posts were printed up for him to review just before his walk of shame. The company monitors what is posted about it on the internet and you can be certain that they monitor this site as well as many others. Don't post anything on this board that you would be afraid to have read back to you by your supervisor. Since I no longer work for them, I don't give a damn what they do anymore.

I’ve been reading these pages since 2018. I’ve seen a lot of lousy and ridiculous posts (and some occasional trolling), but just as many great topics (and some occasional leaks), enough to say that the site isn’t owned nor influenced by Walmart.
Site moderators are the ones deleting posts (for rule violations). Here is what they usually remove:

  • f-words and personal insults
  • threats, trolling, bullying others
  • off-topics like political or racial discussions
  • posting names and personal identifiers (like when you don’t directly name a person, but state his function and location)

First of all Walmart Inc does not even care to do anything about AES other than ensure your club or store gets the min at-boy-score in hopes to limit the number of conference calls. Or more so that they can show how Engaged the Associates are at work.

Below is from Content Rules on this site.

"Enforcement
The rules outlined here can be enforced by removing your content and/or blocking your access to TheLayoff.com. Please refer to Privacy Policy for details on how we deal with disclosing log data in cases that require it from the legal and safety standpoint."

Also there are alot postings from other workplaces on this site that are seeing the same of posts seemingly been removed at random.

My guess this sight is generally anonymous in the sense that Walmart does not likely get a report stating just who has said what. But there is no doubt they monitor this site and if something is said that upsets them it would be easy for them to get the info on just who said it. Things we might like to think would upset them such as pointing out how poorly the clubs are run or how bad the CEO is or naming certain club numbers bounces of them like peas shot out of a pea sho-ter hitting an armored vehicle.

wouldnt shock me at all if walmart corp actually owns this site to use as some statistical analysis to evaluate their disgruntled workforce so they can implement new tactics to just annoy us enough but not erk us enough to unionize.
