Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Cultural Problems At USAA

Cultural problems do exist at USAA. But it's at the top echelons of the company...and it's not because employees were allowed to WFH. I'll let these articles speak for themselves.

It is interesting that SATHO exec row (3C) has had guards standing by all week. What are they scared of?

Thanks for sharing. That was a good read. Protect this article behind a pay wall. This confirms my suspicions that usaa has known for a long long time. You can't run the place
Like a mom and pop shop, and insurance rules are not banking rules. You must and you will comply. 2013\2014 they knew and still can not fix it fast enough. How many years\decades have they known. These rose colored glasses we look at the past CEOs as the band played him off, impeccable timing. The new CEO inherits the sins of the past, just like insurance inherited banks problems. New people just don't get it and think they are entitled, at this point this is so deep and long running, its a fight for survival both guys in the trenches and top brass and the eagle it self.

Good articles there. Our executives -- so-called leaders -- are lost and responsible for destroying the good parts of the culture, all in the name of improving culture.

Our only hope is for the BoD to step in. Gawd what an awful state this CEO has created.

A lot changes in a year. The culture has gotten worse since these articles were written. :(
