If I don’t like a movie, I get up and leave. If I don’t like dinner, I don’t eat it. I left this company years ago and I came on here today to see what has changed. As bad as it was, it got worse. If you are tired of cr-ppy wages and even cr-ppier bosses then why are you still here? Leave ! You know how this is going to end so why put yourself through it? You are worth so much more. Yes it is scary and hard to leave sometimes, but the job market has openings with good pay right now. You think you’re living in chains, but you hold the keys to your freedom. If your presence means so little then let your absence speak for you.

Excellent commentary! Since my departure several “gonna be better” promises have not happened, or been delayed for weeks and months. Top that with loss of help when bodies were the solution in the store, not at some outpost covering many other store functions not knowing the store specific issues like faculty and trends. I maintain that these ivory tower leaders have a secret set of goals and that it will hurt everyone except them in the coming days.
