This is why we keep getting caught flat footed as an organization: instead of using the scientific method to challenge assumptions, groups take the data and try to frame why the preferred or existing method will work/is working. No one disagrees that we should be challenging personnel with new opportunities but don’t ignore the real effects of our system that punishes failure. If the data doesn’t back that up then be more transparent with the data.
This company hires really good people; it must stop thinking that only the senior individuals know what’s best. We’re wasting talent.
