I am stuck here, unfortunately. Is it worth putting in the effort and trying to meet the metrics?

Metrics mean nothing right now, everyone is going to be offered a job with a vendor then terminated within 6 months of staring with no severance. I already have another job lined up and I’ll probably bail by the end of 2023 but I’m dragging it out cause I love the 10-12 hours of actual work I do a week and getting paid for 40!!!
Hence marked the task complete.
The only metrics that matter at Allstate is Wilson's fat bank account numbers. All at the expense of ethics and morale.
Also, you don’t have to be stuck here. If you want to leave, start applying elsewhere while you continue to work. It may take awhile to find the right spot, but there is a lot of opportunity out there. Go for it!
I wouldn’t be able to look myself in the mirror if I knew I wasn’t doing my best. Don’t let the company diminish what you have to offer. Do your best for YOU. And don’t listen to these losers who just complain. You are better than them. Take pride in your work and do your best because you can and because it’s satisfying to know you did a good job at the end of the day.
Sc--w this company and to He-l with their metrics.
My girlfriend thinks it is worth it for putting in the effort.
Well... that depends.
Why are you stuck here? There are no legal indentured servants anymore.
I would look for something else in every free minute I had if I wasn't happy or had no upward movement available.
I agree. Play the game. Just do what you need to do to keep your job and not a bit more. BTE means nothing as raises are non-existent anymore and frankly no one cares anymore. Just do what you have to and don't take on the extra unneeded stress.
None of it really matters. They will get rid of you no matter how good you do for them.
Clock in, do the absolutely bare minimum expected, clock out. Get your paycheck. This company deserves absolutely nothing more with the way they mistreat and lie to their employees and scam and steal from heir customers. Do just what you need to do to keep the bread coming in. This is not a career and they made it this way.
Sure- that’s what you get paid for. No shame in trying to be a valuable employee. The other stuff finds a way of working out
Please think of Tom Wilson as your dad and you want to make him proud.
Yet Allstate India will mark or clear a task but nothing is done in the claim.
Hence Clearing the Task
I despise these metrics. They try to spin it off as a good thing. Oh, you want credit for you work. As long as the work is getting done who cares? All we get is threats about how it’s going to affect our performance review.
Take some pride in what you do
