Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Ekert first 3 weeks

Ekert has been CEO of Sabre for 3 weeks now and his first announcement has been a massive RIF of the people he claims to care about. Bad start! To all my friends and colleagues impacted by this, my best wishes to you all, not yet sure whether I will be joining you.

Probably getting paid millions just to break the company piece by piece and sell it off. He doesn't give a damn about people, livelihoods or anything

Agree, the multiple situations has been brewing for years and SM following others with trying to make a culture that already had one did not help. VP of Culture was insane.. Now CEO is grasping at straws. 1A needs the competition not sure it’s Sabre of this day and time.. good luck to all of us!!!

SM may not have wanted this on his hands but the situation Sabre is in was in the making for a long time and occurred while he was the CEI.
