Unitedhealth Care / Optum makes their revenue from America's senior population. But, they don't want to spend money anymore by hiring America citizens. UHC/Optum would rather pay lower wages for sub-par customer service representatives from other countries, no matter how many times the customers complain.

They are sub-par in the U.S. also. It’s a complete profit driven company and there are alot of people working these jobs that don’t care about the patients at all. You are silenced if you voice what you see or fired. It’s so toxic and alot of unorganized chaotic work place procedures. This company fails the patients in alot of different ways and their so called leadership doesn’t care. The supervisors are so clueless and uninterested in any form of improvement and they use their authority and situations to make political statements or protects each other. These layoffs are nothing new and I honestly appreciate every day of work I do at this company because I honestly try. It’s getting overwhelming because the situation is so bad. The good people are leaving in droves.
