Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

TK at Hasbro!

Give it a few months and you'll be able to buy their stock at just as low if not lower a price than Mattels. :D

So Hasbro just sold its entertainment division back to guy they bought it from in 2019. What does that mean. And Mattel and Hasbro join forces to market movies based on their IP. All in the news today. Could that mean the sleezy accounting that runs the movie world is too unpredictable for toy companies? Just toy companies selling junky products via “marketing “! What are the tea leaves saying with this type of news just today!

If H—bro inc. was to acquire Mattel, TK would be in good position, based on his experience at Mattel, to relatively seamlessly.integrate all the brands. Just speculating, but better than the current schleps.

TK now at Company H—bro was at his core a good guy. He did however, while running the Boys Division at Mattel promote people who looked the part of leaders , but were incompetent. He was a competitor of RD . Based on lots of criteria, H—bro is in better hands under his leadership than Mattel..

Please TK is a toxic old fool that was part of the steering crew that brought us to where we are now. He was just a rat that jumped off the ever sinking ship earlier than most.

Tadashi Katayama, use to run the compliance and quality dept for fashion dolls back in the 2000's. I believe he left Mattel around 2014.

Give him a chance!
First he has to recover from making bad movies that don’t sell products.
Something Mattel will learn in 3 to 5 years.
Next revive old brands and make new IP to grow the business.
Losing Disney really hurt them hard! Just like it did Mattel!
Mattel needs to make new IP that’s engaging. Stop bringing back old brands, MOTU, that don’t sell to anyone but old fan boys. That’s what Super 7 is for.
