Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel stock price action looking more bullish. Thanks, Pat

The stock price has shown much better price action in the last couple of months. Looks like the decisions made by Pat are starting to improve the company's prospects. Keep up the good execution, Pat, and continue making the hard decisions when necessary. There's still more work to be done.

Arby’s has highly processed meats which aren’t healthy at all.

Anyone thinking a 30 day put/call ratio of 2.4 is bullish, go home. This is an Arby’s.

It's time for the Intel crowd still hoping to get rich off its stock to see a shrink.

Agreed, the technicals are indeed starting to look more bullish for Intel and Tech in general. But that doesn't mean that we are off to the races yet. More layoffs in Tech will be coming over the next year and the banking sector is still looking shaky. Still, the former can be taken as "bullish" by Wall Street as a sign that Tech companies are cutting costs to improve their bottom line. But more problems in the banking sector could undermine everything. Re: the poster talking about volume and short positions: WRONG!

Right on.

I got laid off from Intel a few weeks ago, but I still have ~$500K in INTC from ESPP, RSUs, and DRIP. I was planning to trick the Wall Street Bets Redditors into doing a short squeeze on INTC, but now I don't have to. We've got Pat.

INTC to the moon!

Yes, from the $60’s down to the $30’s looks really bullish. Thanks, Pat!

It seems like the leaks of good news and divestures is to offset poor numbers.

It doesn’t take much to meet the low expectations. 11B in sales means what at most 50B for the year?

It’s kind of like OKRs set them low and sandbag them to reach the goal.

Yea sure 50B is a lot but their sales were over 70B before the pandemic even started. If you add inflation ….. well 50B in sales ain’t what it use to be.

It takes a long time for a company to disappear…. But eventually revenue will be in the 30B range. Margins will remain small as they try to build a moat around PC.

Sounds like a typical politician.
"Look at all the problems we solved!". Just don't look at who caused them.

If you look at volume as well, the recent increase is more likely from bears taking short positions before earnings is reported. I can certainly believe that you aren’t awake.
