Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Hopefully this doesn’t add fuel to the fire…

BUT… I hope all those remaining just don’t give a sh-t. I managed a small store that was dead, thanks to Covid. And realized FHEG, (before the dark times, before the Empire) was on its course to die. I just stopped caring. And I hope you will too.
I would order drinks, watch HBO all day and occasionally call a couple close friends to fool around with in my backroom. I had a blast. So get on out there, friends. Live your best life. There is life after Follett. I promise you that.

I was a great associate. Showed up every day. Which was more than my colleges at the time. Whether my campus saw it or not; I stayed open for those international students stuck on campus.
I had to lay off my employees; especially those that had been there for a while.
Not to mention… I never took a day off in that position. More fool me. I wish I did.

Wow. You sound like a great associate and a good person all around. I’m sure you will be missed.

Dying business - paradigm has shifted. JRC made a bad investment UNLESS they want to lose money.
