Saw they are closing 3 sites in SD area. Warn notices were given yesterday (https://edd.ca.gov/siteassets/files/jobs_and_training/warn/warn_report.xlsx) - 707 people since November laid off in Cali.

Several layoffs in Carlsbad today in ops, marketing, and R&D under Biosciences division. Band 10s have known for a while with band 8 & 9s for a few weeks. Employees (band 4-7) laid off got a meeting with less than 24hrs and not even allowed to go back to their cubicles to get personal items which will be mailed to them.
