Why should we care about it more than those at the top who are paid to do so?

Agreed. I bounced a little over three years ago. It was clear USAA had lost its way the minute Stewy P became CEO, and only got worse with Wayne.
Unfortunately the members are blind to what goes on at the HO and would never vote to replace the entire board, which is the only chance USAA truly has to turn around.
