Does anyone know if risk and compliance roles will be impacted any time soon? Specifically in Bank? I have been hearing rumors of late June, but no clue if there is any truth to that or not. Was already feeling forced out due to being remote (thousands of miles from an office), but I definitely don’t want to wait around at this company just to be laid off so would appreciate a heads up from anyone with inside knowledge.

I’ll add also: you’re remote you say? You’re probably noticing (or about to notice) that you’re left out of meetings. People in the office have more team members aligned under them? They are getting more projects? They are included in meetings?
You’re given “development opportunities”? Work feels chaotic for you? :-|
Apply for one of the 150 roles available (lol). Oh wait we are laying off and not backfilling.
Maybe chat with a Director with a good relationship with a recruiter or HRBP.
There aren’t even dedicated recruiters for risk, compliance, BRCA, QA roles anymore.
