In 2020 the club in MERRILLVILLE INDIANA let his managers work a 4 day work week while constantly badgering the Associates to work 50+ hours just to stay afloat.

He also let the managers work half days on holidays. I wonder why he doesn't do that in his "urban" store

It's already started over here, I work Mon-Thur 10 hour days, The managers can rest more in the office while I work my bu-t off. Now they only have to work like 1 day a week. Less work more bonus, more work less bonus, works great for the lazy folks.

Management is not going to a 4 day work week lol, this is laughable. They are salary, in the shareholders eyes they should be putting more hours then a FT employee. Hence in my area SoCal especially during the holidays they work 6 day work weeks. An no 4 day work weeks aren't going to happen for us hourlys either.

Sam’s club would have to pay overtime for the last 2 hours of each day so there is no way that is happening in California 😂

I don’ see it happening. At least not anytime soon. 4 10 hour days would not fix anything.

thats true only favorite people would get four days in a row. The laziest one. The ones managers love to licking their feet. Everyone else would work 2 then off 1 the work 1 the off 1 then work 1 then be off 1. then start again with work 2 etc. There would also be split shifts. Work from 4am till 9 am then 6:30pm to 11:30pm. since each portion would never be 6 hours in length you would get one break in the morning and one in the evening but never a lunch break. AND AND AND you would be expected to get 8 hours of work done each set of 5 hours. Oh and did you know that a certain mid north ohio club is 1st in their market by making their people believe they have to stock 8 skids per hour? instead of the standard 5 ?

Get out now before this company screws you over even more. Four 10hr shifts would never be in a row here, I can see it being all broken up, never three days off in a row. Probably a disguise to get more people working every weekend.

I’ve heard managers are going to a 4 day week, not sure how many hours they have to work
Since so many are quitting or stepping down they are trying to make it more attractive of a job
Problem is so much BS from corporate and market thrown on top of everything else we have to do makes it impossible to feel like you can ever get it all done…why so many quit 🤷‍♂️
