Today, Neeraj announced Jen Merlin is retiring and Gerald Wilson will be the interim replacement. The message closed with over the next several months, he will determine the organizational needs associated with this change and share more as he is able. Sounds like ERC layoffs are imminent…

It’s a cheese rating not a Chi rating
Nepo baby.
Sr -> AVP in 4 / 5 years. Can we just send him to his room?
Send him over to corp. comm or innovation? Give him a nice little budget and little team. Let them go break things in a little room alone? Minimize the damage?
Please?
Charlie:
"Let me give training to 600+ people in a hoodie and my unibomber costume. Okay now I'm going to put 1/2 can of chew in the side of my mouth"
Great job me
Next: Release training two weeks after the kick-off date. My training, see above but about a car ride to California.
"you're doing great sweetie"
For my grand finale: 1/2 baked tool, no procedures. Definitions, I'll bury in a powerpoint on some wiki site...1 week before RCSA finalizes. Fu-k, dependent controls? CHI ratings aren't aggregating? Wait CHI ratings don't even make sense...uhhhhh RCSA 4.0.
"Nailed it...."
Charlie, you're promoted!
Charlie "duhhhhhhhhhhhhh - uhhhhhh whut"
"Let me give you a story about a drive to California - this will be our risk framework. This will also be our entire RCSA training. This will also be our risk 101."
"...so if you see you have an airbag on your trip, that's a control preventing the risk of death in an accident!" Okay - go run a billion dollar financial services organization.
I'll give this training from a dungeon I call a ranch.
Yes. A-1 executive 2nd line of defense leadership.
Du----s
Sri the head of MRM is leaving too. He was serious dead wood; he worked out of San Francisco since 2019 and didn't do anything. He's ops risk I guess
Charlie Heath? The former head of HR’s son. The man who has failed his entire career up to being an AVP. Add him and his team of useful id--ts to the list of people who make “managing risk well” significantly more difficult.
ERC needs a page 1 rewrite.
The leadership there is incompetent.
Failed risk programs. Failed systems. Failed reporting. Failed changed management. Failed aggregation.
RCSA: failure
PRCI: failure
KRI: failure failure failure
Ops Loss: failure
Risk Inventory: failure
CHI ratings: lol failure
How do you fail this badly and continue to get promoted?
