The mystery over the reasons behind the email deepens if someone in DXC goes so far as to remove a thread about it on this site. I wonder if we will ever discover why the sudden panic?

it is amusing that DXC denies any breach in their internal systems after Latitude pointed the finger at them as the cause of the Latitude data breach, then suddenly DXC gets 130K+ employees to change their password simultaneously - entirely coincidental I am sure (is what DXC will say to the press if questioned)
It's crazy because officially nothing happened. DXC released a very brief update in Australia only saying nothing happened. We get an email that didn't even have "change password" in the title, but instead hidden away so most people missed it.
They are happy to tell us results are bad so no money for employees but only money for execs but they can't tell us there's a possible security breach so just to be safe could everyone change their password. That's all.
Is the action really that odd? We are being blamed for a breach. Why would we not force a global pass change just in case, as well as to be able to show actions taken in the pending lawsuits. I'm not saying there is or is not more to this, but the force pass change is not so crazy.
I've noticed it too except the deleted posts are all around BAE and the dodgy practices by DXC and management bullying etc
Does TheLayoff have rules?
Because it is all over the news and, depending on the outcome, may result in significant reputational damage for DXC. Do a proper Google search and you'll understand what I mean by this.
Odd that everyone I know had to change their password yesterday, regardless of when it was last changed.
